In Warsaw University of Technology from 10 to 12 January, was hosted the first meeting of the international educational project EWENT (East-West European network on higher education), which was attended by representatives of 17 universities from the European Union, Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova. Odessa National Polytechnic University was represented by vice-rector S.A. Nesterenko.
Project EWENT performed within the framework of Erasmus Mundus and funded by the European Union. The main objective of the project – support for mobility of students, PhD and university staff during their training (internship) at foreign universities. For this purpose is allocated more than 200 scholarships. From the European Union in this project are participate universities from France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Ireland. The project focuses on three years. Beginning of the first phase of the project will start at February 2012.
