Meeting by the “MEDIS” Project TEMPUS IV
In winter 2014 started International Project MEDIS (A Methodology for the Formation of Highly Qualified Engineers at Masters Level in the Design and Development of Advanced Industrial Informatics Systems) within the program - TEMPUS IV – 6th Call for proposals.
Currently, the development of industrial informatics systems (IIS) was circulated in various areas, such as automotive, avionics, robotics, etc.
IIS are designed using different hardware and software platforms, depending on the specific system requirements. EU countries which are partners in the project have extensive experience working in the formation of development methodologies IIS. The objective of this project is to provide to third partner countries (Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan) the experience of using successfully implemented methodologies EU.
The main goal of this project is - integration methodology of problem-based learning to master in the field of industrial technologies for the preparation and formation of highly skilled engineers to develop best IT industry systems based on microcomputers, industrial computers, mobile platform and cloud computing.
23-25 October 2014 at the Technical University of Sofia (Bulgaria) was held a meeting of partners from this project, which considered on important issues - the introduction of 5 new methodologies in training courses that are already successfully carried out in European countries, also by the autumn of next year to Magisters of ONPU will be given the choice of 5 new methodologies by the project objects. Within the project the new laboratory will be also equipped with the necessary technology.
