By paths of the Second World War
Tour for foreign students of the preparatory department to Partisan Glory Museum took place on May 10.
This is one of the few underground museums in Ukraine.
The underground part of the museum is located in the famous Odessa catacombs,
where, during World War II unconquered defenders of Odessa - the partisans acted.
25 students of the Preparatory Department of Azerbaijan, Yemen, China, Lebanon, Syria, Turkmenistan, Tunisia, and Turkey (and 24 foreign students OSPU) were partisan ways, acquainted with the types of weapons and equipment Staff, objects and conditions of partisan life, archival documents, personal things fighters squad. Memorial Hall with a group of sculptures and preserved from the wartime drawings guerrillas aroused great interest among the students.
In the terrestrial part of the Museum of students has long been considered wartime documents, photographs and awards Odessa underground. In the courtyard of the Museum of delight visitors Exposition of military equipment."We have learned a lot from the history of Ukraine and now we will better understand the Ukrainian people," said the students after the tour.
