Meeting at the "Club of the general culture" ITFN
For newly arrived foreign students club meeting "CRIC" (Club of the general culture) was held on November 23. For over 10 years the club introduces international students with a distinctive Ukrainian culture.
Each year, new foreign students come to the preparatory faculty of the Odessa National Polytechnic University. And, as almost 40 years of existence of the preparatory faculty, the interest to our country - Ukraine - remains unchanged. This is why the meeting at "Step" like so much to those who came to us from Vietnam, the Congo, Angola and Turkey, and more from around the world.
This academic year, the first meeting of the club started with a traditional loaf on towel - a symbol of fertility and prosperity, a special sign of respect and friendliness when meeting guests.
No less impressed by our students made and a meeting room department, decorated in Ukrainian national traditions. Understandable without translation story teacher, master program. Causes a storm of applause and a song about Odessa, performed as a teacher and a speech to the Faculty of Russian and Ukrainian students at the school number 35, which is not the first year we are friends cultural contacts.
And the enthusiasm demonstrated their talents our current students from Angola, the Congo, Vietnam, Tunisia, and other countries, dressed in their national costumes, singing popular songs in their own countries, and dancing.
They met - all had fun, and no one wanted to end the meeting.
Take the first "Step", the first step towards Ukraine and its rich culture, its beautiful language.
Remarkably, the organized, prepared and conducted the event teachers of the faculty, regardless of whether they belong to a particular department. This department head prof. Bulgar VV, and deputy dean, who teaches "Kraїnoznavstvo" N.M. Matveeva, and the head of the club "Step" biologist E. A. Zerkalova and chemist I.V. Klepova and mathematician N.A. Sledzyuk, and a teacher of Russian language and literature V.N. Gubarenko.
