Since June 13, ONPU visited by a delegation of the Swedish Agency for Radiation Safety SSM headed by a manager of the international department Zlatan Dilalichem and expert Tage Eriksson. The aim of the visit was to discuss the problems of improving the quality of training of specialists in the field of nuclear energy and receiving of practical skills in nuclear power plants. Have been discussed ONPU proposals, that were made after the meeting of representatives of the Swedish and the Norwegian Agency for nuclear safety with the management of "Energoatom of Ukraine", Ministry of Education and Science, as well as scholars of leading universities of Ukraine, which was held in September 2015 in Kyiv. As a result of discussion was achieved mutual understanding and was signed a protocol on the provision of organizational and material assistance by the SSM agency of the Institute of Energy and computer-integrated control systems. The Protocol provides for the practical training of specialists of nuclear power in specialized centers and simulators, practical training of the best students at Ukrainian NPPs by SSM means, establishing direct contacts of ONPU with foreign partners, organizations and universities of the relevant profile, help with the publication of teaching materials and purchase of special equipment.
On the 14th of June ONPU visited representative delegation one of the world's leading telecommunicationscompanies HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES headed by director of the Department Li Jiang and the head of the representative office in Kiev Zhao Keshuay. Company has an annual turnover of about 60 billion dollars, supplies telecommunications equipment and gadgets for consumers in 107 countries around the world, employs 170 thousand employees (of which about 80 thousand engaged in scientific developments).
Rector of ONPU G.O. Oborskiy held a meeting with members of the delegation, during which scientists ONPU made presentations of new results obtained in telecommunications, processing and protection of information, mathematical modeling and patterns recognition. Great interest of the Chinese delegation called posts of assoc. A.B. Kokhanov, professors A.A. Kobozeva and V.J. Chechelnitskii, assoc. A.A. Fomin and assoc. V.I. Startsev. The head of the delegation Li Jiang spoke about the development of the company and its main objectives for the coming years. During the meeting were discussed variants for joint research and development. At the conclusion of the visit, delegation visited the laboratory of the Institute of Computer Systems and Information Security Institute of Radio Electronics and Telecommunications.
