Participation of ONPU at ELECTRA project
The 8 EU countries’ Universities and 12 Universities from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia and Ukraine, the Odessa National Polytechnic University including, are invited to join the project. The ELECTRA project goal is comprehensively exposed at its full title: “Enhancing Learning in Enpi Countries through Clean Technologies and Research related Activities”
The ELECTRA project is targeting the extensive activities in academic exchanges with undergraduate and graduate students, Ph.D., and doctoral students, teaching staff between 20 involved Universities. Apart of ONPU, another two Ukrainian participants of ELECTRA are: the T.G. Shevchenko Kyiv National University and the Zaporizhya National University. These three Ukrainian Universities obtained 52 grants in all exchange program categories for whole project term (2012-2015 years). Duration of international studies’ programs varies: 6-10 months for Bachelors, 6 – 18 months – for Masters; 11 – 34 months of studies abroad are available for Ph.D. students and the teaching staff can get 1 month of respective studies. Program running the grant holders do access their monthly allowance, differing depending from individual participant category: 1000 euros per month is allotted for students, 1500 euros for Ph.D. students and 2500 for teachers.
