The opening of “Bosch Academy” took place at the Odessa National Polytechnic University
The ceremony was attended by the top officials of the company: Leif Schneider, Commercial Director of “Robert Bosch Ltd”; Oleg Riabtsev, Regional Director of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and CIS Countries; Grigory Rouzavin, PhD in Science, regional head of technical support and service of Bosch and the head of educational center “Robert Bosch”; Gennady Oborsky, Doctor of Science, professor, rector of the Odessa National Polytechnic University and others.

The training course will be conducted using of the Bosch modern equipment and involving the best teachers from the University to cover whole range of tasks from diagnostics of car electronics to the diagnostics of whole chassis”.
“Bosch Academy” is striving to improve quality of trainings for students and professionals in the sphere of operation and maintenance of automobiles. For this purpose the University labs were equipped with modern facilities for theoretical and practical classes.
The practical part of the training at the Academy will take place in the lecture hall, equipped by Bosch. Students will be trained to handle all the functionality of modern diagnostic techniques from Bosch, such as motor-tester 740, wheel alignment system FWA 4410, smoke opacity meter module RTM 430, gas analyzer ETT 855, devices for diagnostics onboard computers KTS 650, KTS 530, Test Lanes SDL 260, Bosch ESI[tronic] Software, as well as a full set of equipment for technical inspection.
In future these skills will enable experts to work successfully with the Bosch technique, and quickly adapt to any modern diagnostic equipment.
The program for University students lasts 1 semester as a part of their general program. Trainings for external professionals take 2-5 days. Registration for the first training in the Academy will start soon after its opening.
All the professionals will receive certificates Bosch of common standards that is acknowledged all over the world. Bosch initiative will be implemented in other universities.
