• ONPU is the member of European Universities Association (EUA) and International Association of Universities (IAU).
• In 2000 an UNESCO Chair has been established at ONPU
• The University’s stable international scientific and practical links created ONPU merited name abroad. We established long-time cooperative contacts with the UNESCO headquarters, the European Center for Higher Education, the Council of Rectors in Europe, the General Agency of International Educational Programs.
• Today ONPU cooperates with educational, scientific researcher and practical industry institutions from 14 countries, a successful collaboration with 30 Institutes and Universities in Asia, Europe, Canada, America continues.

Enrolling to University Studies


List of applicant’s file items for enrolling to the University Studies.

For entering to a Faculty/Institute of ONPU, an applicant must submit the following documents:
1. Application properly 
2. Passport
3. Questionnaire 
4. Copy of education certificate with subjects-to-marks transcript, certified at the Ukrainian embassy
5. State Certificate of graduation form the Preparatory Faculty (CIS citizens fluent in Russian should undergo a Preparatory Faculty test)
6. Academic record with subjects-to-marks transcript (for those having studied before at an University, without having graduated from and willing to enroll for senior years (2-5) cycle), certified at the Ukrainian embassy
7. AIDS medical certificate
8. General medical certificate attested at the Ukrainian embassy
9. Copy of birth certificate attested at the Ukrainian embassy
10. Back to motherland open-date-ticket valid during 1 year
11. 12 photos of 3х4 сm
12. Health insurance for urgent medical help (insurance effected at the Ukrainian embassy either upon arrival to the ONPU)

Entering to the ONPU

Those applicants not having a student’s registration (an applicant who does not bear a student’s visa to Ukraine nor student’s registration for the date of enrolling) it is essential to:
1. Send an E-mail to: shapoval@opu.ua, shobik@dis.opu.ua or saa@dis.opu.ua with data as specified at questionnaire and a copy of secondary school leaving certificates.
2. The University authorities consider the opportunity of your studies at ONPU.
3. Having received the confirmation letter, pay to the University account the path of tuition fee.
4. Upon payment receiving the ONPU will send you an official invitation for studies. 
5. Invitation letter obtained, the applicant should address to the nearest Ukrainian embassy applying for visa.
6. Visa holding, the applicant informs the ONPU on his arrival date and flight. (An essential note, as at boundary crossing the future student would be met by ONPU either Ukrainian Education & Science Ministry representatives.)
7. Upon arrival to Ukraine the applicant should within 3 days term address to the ONPU for enrolling formalities completing. All the compulsory documents (see above) are required for submission.

Those bearing a student’s registration (usually – current academic year Preparatory Faculty graduates either students transient from other Ukrainian University) should:
1. Address directly to the ONPU International Cooperation Department whilst submitting all the mentioned above documents.
2. The University authorities consider the opportunity of your studies at ONPU.
3. If agreed, the student should pay to the University account the tuition fee (immediately at ONPU cash-desk either through Trustee Savings Bank cash located within ONPU territory) prior to date of studies beginning. The payment check should be submitted also to the International Cooperation Department.

Student's expenses

1. Enrollment fees (application, visa obtaining for those needing in) – 50$.
2. Mail costs – 50$.
3. Tuition fees–  
 - Preparatory language course - 1600$ annually
 - Bachelor - 1700$ annualy,
 - Master - 1900$ annually,
 - Ph.D. - 3000$ annually,
 - Dr. Sc. - individually sought  
4. Urgent help medical insurance – approx. 75$ per year.
5. Accommodation at OSPU campus – approx. 350$ per 10 months (from 01 September till 01 July).
6. Registration and other formalities - 10$ 
7. Nourishment - 100-200$ per month

An academic year includes 2 semesters: 

from 01st September till 31st December – 1st semester,
from 01st January till 10th January – Christmas holidays,
from 11th January till 24th January – winter session;
from 25th January till 01st February – winter holidays;
from 01st February till 31st May – 2nd semester;
from 06th June till 20th June – summer session;
from 01st July till 31st August – summer holidays.

Lessons beginning at 8.00, held weekly by exception of Saturday and Sunday.
